Discover the illuminated artworks of the Amsterdam Light Festival and taste freshly shucked oysters at four different venues with the Oyster Walk. During this self-guided take-away walk, you’ll visit unique restaurants and bars, each serving two oysters prepared in their own signature style — from classic to creative. From elegant wine rooms to lively bars, every stop has its own charm and flavour. Along the way, the Amsterdam Light Festival app guides you with the route and stories behind the light artworks. The Oyster Walk is ideal for seafood enthusiasts seeking a chic and unique way to experience the Amsterdam Light Festival.

GOOD TO KNOW
/ The Oyster Walk is a take-away walk. This means that no seats are reserved at the restaurants. If a spot is offered, it’s a kind gesture from the venue.
/ Available: Thursday to Saturday
/ Only regular tickets are available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dietary requirements or allergies.
/ Start: Between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at a location of your choice
/ The Oyster Walk runs until 9:30 p.m., so make sure to reach your last stop before then. After 9:30 p.m., your digital stamp card for the oysters is no longer valid.
/ Only one Foodwalk activation link and its corresponding digital stamp card can be active per device.
Cancellation policy
The Oyster Walk goes on regardless of the weather. Tickets are final purchases and cannot be cancelled or refunded.
